My Story

ACTIVE and SELF-TAUGHT
These are the words that best describe me.

I like to be on the go and know, that with a little bit of research, I can do anything.

Wood Working

From the time I was old enough to hold a hammer, I have loved wood working.  My entire family enjoys our workshop and when I was younger, my dad taught me the basics of using the tools and helped me create numerous items.  Now, I have taken over the workshop and I’m teaching my dad!

Hobbies

I feel that everyone needs a hobby… and in my case I have many!  Some of my hobbies are: forging, building computers, working with Legos, biking, 3d modeling, learning to play different muscial instruments and writing code.  I love to learn so if I see something that I find interesting I do the research and dive right in.

Band / Church / Family

Beyond hobbies, I am active in school and church activities and enjoy spending time with family and friends.  This summer our youth group went on a mission trip to the Dominican Republic.  My biggest takeaway is you can CHOOSE to be happy under any circumstance. One of my favorite activities is playing the Euphonium in the Lovejoy High School Band.  We are one of the top bands in our district and hope to compete in the state marching contest.
